I have always been a problem solver at heart. Growing up, I had the mindset that nothing was unsolvable with enough creativity. Using any resource available I tried to create solutions to everyday problems experienced within my household. Whether it was crafting a barrier to prevent the remote control from sliding into the couch or creating an organization system for our junk drawer, I always enjoyed the exploration and challenge.
Later on, I found myself contemplating the problems of the human body which led me down the path of the sciences. Although I gained a lot of knowledge and skills while studying and working in a Microbiology lab, I was still most engaged when there was a problem to be solved.
Now, a series of fortunate events guided me down the path to design. Although I feel I finally found my calling, I still appreciate the journey that got me here. My time in the sciences has helped me develop a process-driven mindset and an understanding of human physiology and behavior. My work experience has taught me how to communicate, multitask, and work with a team. I hope to bring all these skills to tackle whatever problems come next.
